Rene James Bosworth was born in McPherson, Kansas on May 27, 1963 at Memorial Hospital and Dr Vaughn Price delivered him. He is the oldest son of Jim Lorrain Bosworth and Mercedes Estebana Esquivel Aguirre de Bosworth (known as Mercy Bosworth) He left the US to accompany his family (Eric Bosworth (next son) and Neal Bosworth (youngest son) to El Salvador in 1966 at the age of 3. His father worked in Escuela Americana (American School of El Salvador) from 1966 till 1977 and then started a US type school with his wife of 17 years. Rene James was named after his uncle: Rene Esquivel.
The life Rene James led was one of unfortunate incidents but the root cause of his original diagnosed illness was due to his constant bullying of classmates because he was such an outstanding student. On one ocassion he tried to speak to his father to let him leave to another school and since he had free education in the best school of the nation, he tried to convince him to stay and this is where Rene James decided to learn about Psychology and neurological disorders to mimick them and get to stay home as an escape to his torture. It was the constant nagging and even an event in which he went to a brothal to prove his manhood in which he got infected with Syphilis. This led to numerous encounters with bouts of physical wrestling with his father and eventually leaving his home on ocassion to shout in the streets and even go out naked to later be brought back by the police. Rene James had such a psychotic breakdown during high school that even his father did not want him around and with the increasing tension of helping him and also the marital tensions of the family issues it caused Jim Bosworth to choose another path to escape and made both Mercy and Rene James leave to the US with the excuse of the Civil War in El Salvador and "for their protection" and since he did not want to deal with the mounting bills that Rene James incurred. It was easier to have Mercy get a job in Hialeah, Florida in 1979. At one point when they rented a home in 12th Avenue (67th Ave) and 53rd Street that the family began to disintegrate because the younger brothers left with Jim Bosworth had to fend life without a mother.
The scheme of Jim was in motion and the beginning of lies and deceit which continue till today began with a suggestion of a diving student named Carlos, who had left his wife for a secretary. Jim started the school named "Escuela Panamericana" in September 17, 1977 and then began to look for another one to start in Santa Ana (next largest city., about 45 minutes from Capital city : San Salvador) When he began to go back and forth to both schools he found a cleaning maid named Elba Chavez Fuentes Sanchez and she willingly exchanged sexual favors. Jim left behind his legitimate family to pursue an adulterous relationship with this illiterate, drunkard and promiscuous woman who eventually due to frequent encounters bore two illegitimate sons and then the tale gets worst. Jim being married with Mercy then changes his papers and flies the woman with child to Los Angeles and gets married in the US (this is bigamy) and then with more trips and even one such trip with Rene James to try to help him with his illness at Clyde Narramore "Narramore Christian Foundation" kept seeing the woman. Eventually as his web of lies continued and the suspisions grew from Mercy. Jim had to create an escape by lying and saying she was crazy. He never admitted his guilt which led Rene James to get increasingly worst. Rene James killed a dog in his own home thinking it was "El Cadejo" (fictional dog which was embodied by Satan) The life of marriage was almost non existant and so the only thing that Mercy could do was take Jim for a ride and so she began to take trips everywhere first to Disney World then Europe and finally the last one where she began to see herself alone was in Mexico where she was to get on a cruise to Alaska and she got robbed at the airport in Mexico and had to travel back to El Salvador. The story of Jim and his adulterous relationship ends in 1999 when he after seeing the drunken habits of his adulterous companion divorces her (even though it was not a legitimate marriage anyhow) This leads to saying that he wanted to commit to his original relationship with Mercy and in 1999 he travels to Israel with Mercy and subsequently in April 2000 with sons Eric and Neal and their wives travels to Israel and says "I will return with your mother" The web of lies continue since he did not return to be in a marriage with Mercy until he had been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and he undergoes an elective surgery to place a teflon between a vessel and the nerve in the brain.
The effect of the surgery left Jim Bosworth hospitalized from July 20, 2006 till November 17, 2006 with two months in life support to counter act the effect of his stress post surgery. He was having heavy breathing and nervousness. He also had to be transferred from a private hospital to a public ICU unit at Medico Quirurjico where they would take care of his condition for 3 days when there was a buildup of hydroencephalic fluid and a perforation of the cranium was scheduled to drain the fluid. At Eric Bosworth's (second son) insistance he was left at the ICU there in Central Hospital where the facilities were better and more hygienical, this was through the help of the vice president of the country : Ana Vilma Albanes de Escobar.
The situation of recovery of Jim led Rene James to finally decide to embrace life and so he sent to Publish America a set of poems he had written years ago and had compiled them in one manuscript. So in 2009 he finally had them published and his mental state even though he still had remnants of his lunacy but under medication it was under control but there broke through a desire to be a poet and tell the world the diverse poems he had written.
Today, Rene James is still under medication but he has affected lives the world over with a series of poetic prose that has uplifted the spirits of those down by what life has brought their way. Another tragic story was that in October of 2008 when an ex teacher of Escuela Panamericana who died in a drive by shooting of an ex gang member in his car made Rene James reflect about what Stephen Cobb had told him about Publish America. Life is still hard not been in control of your own decisions but the fragmented lines of poetic freedom ring true in the life of this solitary personality....Rene James Bosworth.
